I've been to Waynesboro. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. I was traveling the blue ridge parkway all the way to the end in N.C. on my motorcycle.

We've been to the Shenandoah caverns and the Natural bridge Zoo. Today we drove down thru the middle of the mountains. Not a store.restuarant or gas station anywhere. Got a couple good pics thou

I think Waynesboro is where my (soon to be ex) husband and I spent our first anniversary. It was in October. Perfect time of the year up there. I can't remember where we stayed but we had a nice dinner at a restaurant that I can't remember now either. Oy. That was six whole years ago!

It was incredible. There were more bikes than cars and of course no trucks allowed on the Parkway.
