Maybe CES. I don't understand why they want to go. Adventure, I guess. That's OK. But I don't know why we can't fix our bridges and stuff 1st. Sorry to be negative.

There's no molten core so bad radiation on surface, hardly any atmosphere, and any we "made" by terraforming would burn off. So... ????????

They are targeting 2023 , they are testing out the special suits and such to live up there.

A lot of good technology (even aside from Tang) has come out of the space program....so maybe the tech to get people to Mars could actually be used to improve roads and bridges and other infrastructure? It's not a perfect program, but if we lose our curiosity then we lose a lot of what makes us people.

Yeah. Sheldon (BBT) did an experiment where he and the gang promised that if they ever invented or had access to time travel, they'd come back to that exact place and time. Didn't happen. Of course, Sheldon doesn't really exist either.... Not sure it's physically possible. Slowing, yes. Backward... IDK.
