Hi guys, well, I FINALLY got my Precise yesterday!!! Yay for me! I'm MADLY in love with it..it looks great and I'm using the LR atty with it. :hubba:

My only 'problem' is the end button..it works great, don't get me wrong, but I'm thinking maybe it's 'loose'?

When I turn it upside down, the button is depressing on it's OWN! 8-o I DON'T want this thing firing without me doing it and potentially either blowing an atty or a battery.

Is there some way to 'tighten' it? Doesn't SEEM like there is, when I remove the end cap, the button itself can just fall out on it's own too. It doesn't seem to be attached by threads or anything?

Any help?

Domino,

I am almost 100% sure that the button's spring is missing.
Did you disassemble your Precise, specifically the button end, at any time?
I see you did but did you do it trying to find out how to fix it or disassembled it just to see how it's build?

The spring is very tiny, only 1/2" in length.

NEVER MIND!! I just came in the door from dropping my 6 year old off at school and stepped right on the SPRING!! Yay!! It must have fallen out of it when I took the Precise out of the box, as it was on the kitchen floor!

Wow, the vaping Gods must have heard me...ooooo....now I'm creeped out...that's okay, my AMAZING PRECISE WILL PROTECT ME!! (Please affect one of those 'booming, echo-y voices for that last bit..you know, the one you hear in the Superman movies? Yup! That's it!!)

David, please feel free to delete this thread, my mistake, but solved by the bite of one of your springs that knew it was needed...oooooh.....scary...
