Hello Ecf,

So I am looking to venture in the world of mechanical mods and seeing as I only have 1 mod (pro-vari mini) I don't have much to compare it to or anything. I have seen Precise +'s coming up on classifieds and other places and was wondering if anyone has them are they pretty solid? I want something on lower end of price that is reliable and won't break down on me. Just want to know people's opinions on the 10440 and the "higher" tier precise +'s. The 10440 looks like it might be the choice for me as it it a bit smaller than the others and seems like a good beginner mech mod. Any thoughts, tips, tricks would be appreciated. Thank you!

there is a super t manufacturing subforum, too! i have two p+'s (18650 + 18500) that i feel were well worth the price. lifetime warranty, well designed, reliable, and simple. posters on the subforum really love their 10440. there is also sometimes discounted pieces available if you were looking to save some cash.
definitely recommend you check it out!

it's all up to your preference for battery life and size. i was weary of the 18500 at first, but it is actually quite compact. the 104400 doesn't lock as far as i know. there was also a new 104400 piece released, and it has a side vs bottom button. they also have a telescoping mod, which would acommodate 16340-18650. there's lots of options, but it all depends on your preferences.

As far as telescopes go, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better one than the ELA. Innovative sliding tube design (instead of screwing tubes together for the telescopic feature) paired with an amazing adjustable center pin than won't transfer pressure to the atomizer, add rhodium plated battery contacts that will never tarnish and a lifetime warranty to the list and you have an amazing piece of equipment that is built to stand the test of time. I've had some other "high-end" pieces, and this by far is in a class of it's own.
