Can someone please help me! Ok here's my problems I got a P+ when I ordered it I also got a black 18500 IW IC battery with it. It was firing weak so I ordered a 18490 I charged the 18490 and put it in nipple side forward switch it was working ok but still firing weak. I just went to use it again and it got so hot that the button burnt me! I'm scared to use it now cause when I fired it I seen it was shorting out and it made like little black burn marks on the switch? I really confused right now and I want my P+ to work so bad but ever since I got it its bin nothing but problems! Can some one please help me!

Your atomizer/rba is shorting out. If using atomizer, Remove atomizer, replace with new atomizer, being careful not to overtighten (atomizers have a soft pliable oring that supports their center post and they can compress too far in allowing the center post of the atomizer to press up in and make contact with the atomizer body and it shorts). If its a rebuildable, your coil may be shorting, rebuild as necessary. The reason buttons get hot when shorting is the current is flowing back to the negative and the button is the last contact point on the negative side and tremendous current is being released during a short.

You may want to pull the button and cap and buff it where the returning current was arcing (the black spots you see) . fine steelwool will work or very fine sandpaper. Do not sand or touch your rhodium contacts though, they are unaffected by shorting.

There is about a 1% chance your battery is shorting, check the wrapping on your battery to make sure it isn't torn anywhere thus allowing it to make contact with the metal mod where it shouldn't be.

Edit: Also, battery should be installed with positive end up (nipple end) towards the top cap. Negative end goes in towards the switch.
