How is the low resistance atty working with the 10440 batteries? I really want to buy some and try them out, but I don't know if they'll work well and/or decrease battery life too much.
Just got my Precise yesterday and I rotate my PVs so I don't know how the LR attys affect the 10440 batteries. Based on their use on other batteries, I'd say that they decrease the time some but only slightly.
Typically, the 10440 batteries don't last long to begin with so make sure you have plenty of extras anyway. I discovered that one of my 10440 batteries won't fit the Precise...the little strip that runs down the side protudes at one end more than it should (compared to the other battery. (I have a 3rd battery somewhere but can't locate it at the moment...grrr.)
I plan on ordering a BUNCH of 10440 batteries just to make sure I have enough to fit the Precise. I love how LR atty works on the Precise and think those attys eliminate the need for a HV device. (If you're worried about the price of the attys, just think how much you'll save by not buying a HV device.)
I also absolutely love the FEEL of the Precise. Plus, the button is easy to use...I have arthritis in my hands so this is important to me. I'm just blown away at how small in diameter it is!!! My camera battery is charged now so once I get my act together this morning I'll take pics of it next to my other PVs for comparsion purposes.
