only protected 10440... it was precisely designed around the 10440 (hence the name)...david has said that the unprotected 10440s would be too short..

David, do you have any experience with this adapter? It looks shorter than the standard 510 > 808 adapter we use to seeing. This should give the 901 and cartomizer the recessed look as well however there may be airflow issues.

Where is a good place to buy the spacers? I am only gonna use protected, but I bought a 10440 charger that is meant for unprotected 10440s. Thus, they don't fit. The protected 10440s almost fit the AA length connections on the charger, though. It's all the same voltage and everything, so I just need to make them fit!
If you want the best deal possible, Deal Extreme sells them for super cheap. I got 100 for around $5 shipped.
Otherwise, some battery retailers sell them individually for like $1 or something. Sorry, no links... can't remember where I saw them.
You can go to your local hardware store and get a 3/8" aluminum or brass rod and cut it to whatever length you want.

I found a leather soft case for the Precision that should work even with an 801 if the PV's diameter is not wider than 1/2" or longer than 6 3/8" with an 801 atomizer or smaller. I have used it with the Vapre 51 (VP1) that I own. It soaks up excess juice and keeps bad weather and accidental impact out. Now I see that these protected batteries are available is the USA.

I received Smoke Everywhere e-cig kit for my birthday as gift from a good friend back in January; needless to say I was excited. But only after two weeks the battery stopped holding charge, exchanged the kit for a new one but got the same result. Idea for not smoking tobacco was awesome but the product was no good. Decided to do some research to see whats good out there.
Some of my friends and co-workers are still skeptical about the entire idea of E-cigs but not me, I believe in it from personal experience and spreading the word to those who will listen and try it.
I think its shame what FDA is trying to do.
