I didn't want to mod at first either, but you really should look at the PTB mod. (Pyramid tea bag). Wow, what a difference. Just a two dollar investment and all my carts are good to go. It really does make a difference and with very little effort.

what is that? cignot sells something that I think is called that.....

The tea bag mod.. How do you make sure you don't get all that Lipton taste in your mouth at first???

I did the tiny straw mod and am saving a huge amount of juice.. forgot who figured out that mod, but they were scathingly brilliant!!!

First of all, I totally trust cignot. Bought a complete 510 kit with extra juice and spares. Got the order in two days. Can't beat that.

The PTB mod can be found under tips and tricks section. There's a video to watch on how to do it. Not really needed though. Just buy a package of Lipton Pyramid tea bags, cut to form a square and insert into the cart. Trim off the excess and you're good to go. Makes a big difference in how well the atty wicks. As i empty my carts, they all get the mod. It's like two dollars for 20 tea bags. I'm happy. Feel free to msg me if you have any questions.

You pour the tea out before the mod silly. You're just after the filter material.

I suppose you could make the tea first, cut the bag open and procede to roll it up. I just dumped my Bavarian Berry flavor.

But.. But.. I am always silly... Can't control myself

Still don't get it but nevermind.. Guess with the bag in it, you are absorbing what is gonna run all over in the atty and eventually break it or somethin' like that... Try the little stirrer/tiny straw too... It works like a charm.. The juice that drys up at the end of the polyfill makes you need to drip or refill all day and night... With the straw/stirrer in it with that angled cut at the end of it, somehow takes the juice down to the dry atty end so you don't need to add more and more all the time since it isn't dry.. Afew drips or a couble of refills lasts all day and you don't over flood as much either.. Gotta Love It!!!

That's open to debate. PTB can be had at any Walmart or other grocery store, so that's what i went with. I can only compare it to the stock polyfil. And it's by far superior. I've just been using it for the last few days and am really impressed. Doesn't come apart and can be cleaned and reused indefinitely. You can't go wrong. I still have some prefilled carts and I may just throw out the never used juice for some of my new stuff.

That may all be true, but after removing the stock polyfil every time I want to switch flavors, it just comes apart. PTB doesn't. Pull it out, rinse it off, roll it up and good to go. And even if I did damage it, it's no big deal to replace it. It's so much sturdier that I don't ever see that happening though.

The gist of it is this:

You cut along the seams (two times) until you have a rectangle. Roll the rectangle up like rolling a um, joint. Fold in half and stuff fold side down into the cart. Trim off the excess on top and refill with aprox. 14 drops of juice. Done.

ok,went to youtube... found a couple of different ways to do it... looks promising so I am sure I will try it.... but can you prefill and store them or will I be refilling them everyday?

YouTube.. Me gets the feeling that since we are all on it all the time, now if it went "poof" we'd all be discombobblulated and have nothing to do...

On Tuesday night/Wednesday morning Graig Ferguson's stand-up beginning of his show was so funny I nearly fell off my chair.. I've got to see if it was put on YouTube fer sure....

I prefill and store in my PCC. When that runs dry I always have my Snus. Love the Snus.

What's snus? and can you use the pyramid mod on an rn4081?

Snus is a spitless chewing tobacco product made by Camel. I tried it once... it was gross.

The pyramid mod would work on any cartridge, I would think. You're just replacing the polyfill with the teabag to soak up the juice.

It might even work on cartomizers, but I've not seen anyone doing that.

So then with snus... Years ago there was this news-spot where all these kids were using chewing tobacco and since they were all under-age they refused to tell their parents or go to a doctor.. These kids had cancer-looking like lumps in their mouth's and kept on cutting them out themselves with X-Acto knives.. Since seeing that, I would be too friggin' scared to use snus or chewing tobacco.. but then I'm a girly-wuss *LOL*

Wow. That's hardcore.

Must've been in Kentucky. Lots of the kids here chew. Crying shame.
