Feeling stressed, took a vape at a meeting with my accountant, and was asked to stop; she was worried about 'passive vaping', presumably having read a WHO report on a German Study of the dangers of 'passive vaping' posted on the BBC and other news sites. (which looking at it, the interpretation of 'harm' from very low levels of contaminants, looked like a load of scaremongering, not backed up by the actual results). But now this report and its coverage on major news sites means many among a misinformed public now look on vaping as just as dangerous as smoking.
She wanted to ask her boss if they had a 'policy' on vaping in the office. I said don't bother, if you don't like it, I respect that, I'll just go out into the corridor. Funny how people look to policies and laws to justify themselves. It's her space, so down to her, no problem for me, not a matter for policies or laws. Enough said?
