Is it just me or are others noticing that the premium cartos fail more than the older cartos did?
Out of 10 menthol cartos I have been using and refilling two of them have failed. These cartos have quit electrically and will not produce any vapor or sizzle.
Out of 5 wowboy cartos I just received last week one has already failed before I was able to finish the juice in it.
I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed any premium cart failures.

i have only tried the wow vapor line of cartos and am not familiar with their original carts but yes i ordered a box of wowboy and box of peppermint and one peppermint was bad out of the box and one stopped electrically after about 40 puffs and one of my wowboys makes all of my batteries blink as if they are dead when they are not and doesnt produce any vapor.

I haven't used the wow juices, but I've been using premiums since they came out and in my experience they fail less often. The regulars cartos almost never failed me, but I would burn them more frequently by dragging longer and more often to get good hits.

I haven't had this problem with the prems, though as with the regulars, thick juice seems to muck them up and result in burning after awhile.

What were you all using them on? That was not stated.

Regular cartos are recommended for the 5v PT, right?
Well, actually the store site does not indicate it, but yes, you really should use
the LR cartos on 3.7 batteries, and the HV cartos above 4 volts.

I have a feeling PTs were designed for sale because the HV cartos could handle them, and I have a different feeling that the LR cartos were designed for sale because many people had batteries with less than 4.3 volts.

blink blink blink blink? That sounds like dead battery charge to me.

nah it does it on all my batteries. i had it happen already with another wowboy cart and i think someone else posted something about it happening to them aslo. Im not sure if its a short in the cart or what but its deff not a dead battery, i swapped it with another wowboy cart and its working fine again.

ok i retract my previous statement make that 2 wowboys now that have failed just popped on a fresh wowboy carto took a primer puff then blink blink blink blink.... what causes this to happen? this one does it on all my batteries as well.
I have another thread on this...it only happens so far on 1 battery of mine and I pop the carto on another battery it works fine.Have no idea why it is happening with a fully charged battery though but only with 2-wowboy carts so far.

The two of mine that poped I was using the carts at 3.7 volts not a PT.

I bet I do... But it'd just start another round that I have neither patience nor energy nor time for. The regular batteries are 1.00Wh / 3C batteries. V4L - I have the sneaking suspicion that is leading to what Chris and I spoke of on the call. I think that right there is enough to make him go "aha!" if he also knows the resistance of the premium and wow cartos...

I use mine pretty much on xl manual batteries and occasionally on a passthru. I have two premium carts that were the hardcap version that have had numerous refills using the condom fill method that have died electrically. The only other failure I have is one softcap wowboy that failed during the first use. I haven't seen the flickering light issue that I have noticed.

I hesitate to ask, but the overwhelming nature of the questing mind demands:

What generation are your batteries, LO?

3.7 volts is 3.7 volts the battery's really are not the issue. I am not unhappy at all with the premium or wow carts. What it all boils down to is the carts are made in China and failures can and will happen. Its like buying new light bulbs for your house and after installing one it blows after a week. It just happens.

NOPE! You would be mistaken in that assumption.

If that were the case, I could put three or four together in series and start my car. Or eight of them together and start a semi, or 16 of them in series and start a five story tall Cat earth-mover.

Alas, it's not the way it works. If it were, all of our houses would be powered by a handful of lemons or potatoes and a couple nails and a fist full of copper wire.
