Nicotine alone has a pepper taste. Imagine that! It's what causes the burn or throat hit that smokers demand. So the more nicotine in the liquid, the more it will taste peppery. Gives you a reason to drop your nicotine level. I started
vaping a 18mg, and over two years later I am down to 6 mg, 3 mg, or zero nic. Flavors are much more flavorful and like their description; although I still like the little nic buzz from a little nicotine time to time.
I still get bouts of vaper's tongue, where I don't really taste the flavor. I can't explain what causes it, but its relatively common. At these times I just
vape straight Vg (glycerin) that I
buy from Walmart or CVS Pharmacy. Its cheap and relatively available. It has a slightly sweet flavor all its own (its used in many food products as a natural sweetener) and makes a ton of vapor.
