Premium Nobacco vs. Premium Prefilleds...Difference?

Is there something different about the formula of Premium Nobacco and the formula used in Premium prefilled cartos? After vaping some Premium Strawberry cartos, I bought the Premium Strawberry Nobacco, and it seems different to me. Slightly different flavor, and it seems to get...gunky?...or something in the cartos that I fill (blanks, not cleaned & reused). Like, I'll taste a weird chemical/burned taste or something long before the carto's even close to dry. Then if I use a tip I read on here to blow it out a little to get the old juice out and then top it off again, it's fine for a little while. Then the taste comes back.

Is the juice different?
Am I not doin' it right?
What's going on?

I don't seem to have this problem with a liquid I bought elsewhere. (not mentioning company, as this is V4L's forum...and for clarification, I only bought elsewhere because those are flavors V4L doesn't offer)

Hi Candy....I'm finding there is always a slight flavor difference between the pre filled cartos and the bottles of juice. Quality control will no doubt improve once all of the juices come from their new USA production. I've found that blowing some hot water (with a syringe) thru the carto to be refilled makes a world of difference....seems to clean it out and freshen it up for refilling. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip, but like I said, these are blanks, not refills.
At least I know the difference isn't all in my head.

I've definetely noticed a difference in flavor from pre-filled to freshly-juiced. Everything seems a bit 'sharper' to the tongue? That's how it comes across to my tastebuds, anyways.

I've noticed filling, then letting them sit for a while, really helps tone that sharpness down. If my frazzled brain remembers to fill up a bunch before bed, I'm a happy camper in the morning. I also have to fight a tendency to want to overfill the carto, too. Those pre-filled's aren't brimming with juice when you first get them, these shouldn't be either if you're after the 'pre-filled' taste.

Although, I'm often forgetful, so I've gotten used to the taste of the fresh juice. So it's like I get two flavors out of every bottle, I guess.
