Premiums and Passthroughs

I put my premiums on the passthrough all the time. I will say that this does dry them out much faster. As a rule I have 3 passthroughs going at all times so that I can alternate. I top each one off in the morning and again after dinner to be sure they stay full. So far no burned up premium carts.
I'm the hold-out that says I think it's not a great idea. For electrical reasons I've gone into ad-nauseam and, nausea-related - I don't have the stomach to go into them again.
Thank you for your answers. Lynn....I am sorry. I know I read about this before, but before it didn't matter much to me because I still had plenty of the "regular" cartomizers left. Now that I have lots of premiums, I have been a little afraid of using them on the passthrough. Now I think I remember that the voltage requirements are not correct. I don't want to empty my cartomizers any faster than I already do....they do not seem to last as long as the regular cartomizers. I will use the pass-through for my remaining regular cartomizers for now. Thanks again!
yeah, I've only recently come to the same conclusion... I think I'll just use it for my Pom carts. They're the only regs I have left
I use my passthrough almost exclusively. All my carts are premiums. Is there a reason why I shouldnt be doing this?
I use preemies with my PT all the time. It does cut down on cartridge longevity, but you can't beat the convenience or performance, IMO.
Not to thread hijack but I thought the reason was that they don't function on a passthrough?? I bought a few packs of premiums two weeks ago and a passthrough and none of them will work on the the pass.... they work on the batts though? Makes me wonder what they point of the passthrough is since none of my cartos except a few old ones will even work with it ...
This last week, I was laid up and using my PT more than I usually do (first time with premiums)... enjoyed it but I think I scared myself when I realized I was burning through 5 cartos a day. Felt like a little juice-hog and a little conspicuous... so I backed away from it and went back to my xls.
I use my PT with premiums all the time to save on battery longevity. Trick is to keep them wet. I say it all the time...leave the cap off and drip the filler to keep it wet.

yes, it works ok with the older reg cartos. Gives off lots of vapor but I screw on one of the gold premiums, hit button and get...nothin' ! It's not just one either. I only bought two boxes but they are all that way...

Uzzaperez.....wouldn't leaving the cap off give you way too much vapor? Do you leave the caps off all the time?
My roommate just took a cap off to try it, and she says it's GREAT that way.

Don't leave the cap off. If you're going to do that, make a new cap by punching a hole in a condom.

I assumed that he did the mouthpiece thing. I wouldn't trust myself to do it without that. Definitely, need the some kind of mouth-guard. My guess was that he left the cap off in order to drip freely and just covered it with a condom mouthpiece.

Yes, it seems to me that you may get juice. Oops...my roommate just left with the opened cart.
