Maybe this has been done and I missed it. Feel free to link other threads.

Now that the Premiums and Cool Carts have been out for awhile, which do you prefer and why?

Please only vote in the poll if you have been using both and have a reason for your preference! I'd like to see results that aren't skewed by voters who have only tried one or the other and liked it so they go ahead and vote. Only vote if you're familiar with the differences from using them please & thanks!

I'm voting it depends, which is why I'm curious as to the experience of others.

I originally started trying both. I preferred the Premiums for a long time at 3.7 volts, I just felt the performance of the Cool Carts, while a great improvement over the standard, produced a little less consistent vapor than the Premiums.

But at higher voltage, say on my PT or a mod, the Cool Carts...um, coolness...becomes more of a factor and I'm really liking them a lot. But I'm stocked up on Premiums, with no regrets, so I haven't had as much experience with the Cool Carts as the Premiums and now I'm curious as to what others have to say.

Most likely I'll be ordering a stock of Cool Carts to compliment my stock of Premiums.

Standard cartos and edition 2 cartos aren't in the poll because I could care less about them and their relative degrees of suck-ness.

Re Hard Cap Premiums: I'm pretty sure those were Cool Carts, but peeps didn't like the hard cap so they soft capped them and to distinguish them from the other Premiums they started calling them Cool Carts due to the fact that after the Hard Cap Premiums were in circulation they started to develop a reputation for running cooler and having cooler vapor than the other Premiums.

Re Drip Tips to resolve the heat issue: They keep the heat from your lips, but they don't keep the heat from damaging the carto. If it is hot enough to burn your lips, you are probably starting to impact the carto life and the flavor of your vape is probably changing as some of the sock/filler gets damaged. That's why I was thinking, though I tend to prefer Premiums so far, maybe Cool Carts are a better choice at higher voltage...maybe not.
