I think what Imeo is trying to say is, if you use the cap as a "Stealth", it goes on the bottom engraved tube only .... no tele tube, or top tube, so needs the rethreader with the male threads to go on it.
If you use the cap on top of your whole GGTS - on top of the top tube - the female threads on the cap will go right on the male threads of the top tube, no rethreader needed.

This is the part I'm talking about..it appears to be two pieces... Is one the rethreader?? What is the rethreader used for??

Thank you

I know where you're coming from, but I beg you to reconsider! You can always make the actual 510 connection a separate part so that you have a SS 510 connector that threads into the brass top cap, and then the plastic insulator for the + post threads into the new SS part! You could even recess the SS part so it sits flush with the brass (on the inside) so that you wouldn't need a different plastic axis or + post!
no problem blu:)
I will make brass GGTB venting caps but not brass connectors because their threads get ruined easily because brass is soft material

That would be good ... a brass bottom cap with SS connector/top cap would give me a rash.

Imeo - I couldn't do a brass bottom cap and a SS connector .... if it was on the SS tube, just the bottom would stand out. If it was on the Brass tube, it would look "not finished" ..... :(
I have to be matchey-matchey .... not mix-and-match ....
