You know, when it comes to Reomizers... I never really thought about that. I know with 'stock' rda's it's a given that you have to clean them - or else. (Machining oil and god know what else.) But with Rob's stuff and all the work he does on them...? Don't know if he cleans them before reassembly. This is the first time I've seen that question come up.

Who out there in the 'ville knows the answer to this one?

I haven't had a problem soaking in PGA, but usually not for an hour. When I get a new RDA I take out the post screws, wash it in hot water with some Dawn to get rid of any oil that might or might not be there and swish it around in PGA for 5 minutes or so. Takes maybe 10 minutes until it's ready to go.
Probably doesn't even need to be done with a RM2 but I got a RDA once (can't remember what it was) and there was oil and metal flecks so I just started doing it with all of them.

Normally I disassemble and do mild dawn baths and rinse well with very hot water. I have never noticed any machine oil smells on Rob's attys so with the RM2 you may be ok with a good and thorough hot water rinse. That one is a little more involved with disassembling because of the ceramic deck.

My batteries didn't come in today so I couldn't use the grand but I threw a 1.7ohm micro coil on the rm2, wicked it up, and put it atop my mini134. Works PERFECT! (Didn't clean it) vapor and flavor were both great and the draw is perfect for me. I sure hope I have batteries in the mailbox tomorrow. Looking at my first grand for two days now and not being able to use it is cruel and unusual punishment

Depends which Grand you get - i spent 2 days looking at my copper vein one since i coated it before i ever used it.

If you bought one of those, your wait just got a day longer!

Besides, with a 1.7Ω coil you could use just about any battery from any vape shop locally and be ok safety wise. (high drain IMR blah blah).
