preservability PG

I suppose it is already asked before, but could not find it so quickly, but can anyone tell me what is the preservability of PG? What I mean is, how long can one use PG once you bought it..........
I'm asking, because here in Holland the smallest amount to buy is 5 liters....pretty much I think..........

I've read that PG should last 2 years if stored properly in a cool, dark place. It would help to reduce it's exposure to air, to minimize oxidization. You could rebottle it into several smaller containers, each with as little air space as possible. Glass would probably be best, plastic might give a bad taste to the PG after time.

Thanks a lot, I think I will do so, I mean, rebottle it into glass bottles.......I am very happy, I've been searching for hours, but can't find PG in a smaller amount, say about 50 or 100 ml. Not here in Holland.........however glycerin (Wilton brand) we can buy, in a local store, and also Lorann flavourings........but a small bottle of Lorann(3.7ml) has a price of at least 3.49 US dollars........!!!!

Have you looked at FlavourArt flavorings, from Italy?

15g for €4.80 for fruit flavors (I assume that 1g = 1ml)

Even with VAT and shipping, it could be less expensive if ordering several bottles.
The FlavourArt flavorings I've tried are very good and are concentrated as Loranns.

Thanks a lot, I've ordered a while ago, here in America, 48 bottles of Lorann, together with a few people from the forum I'm on in Holland,so we could share the shipping costs...... but had not seen flavourart flavourings in Italy yet........so I'm going to look for that..........thanks again.......
