Hi I am new to the ECF but have been vaping for about 3 years now. I wanted to know would it be better for me to use a 18650 hg batt for the higher amps in my pressa tc 100 I like to vape at like 80 watts I use my tfv4 with the quad coil. I bought the vape to get longer run times out of a smaller vape but I am thinking that is not going to happen. I did buy 2 26650 efast 4200 metallic purple battery's because of the info that I found with mooches tables. They were a great help to me so thank you if you see this post. I also use an ipv5-ipv d3s with the sx pure coil. I wanted more run time that's why I bought the pressa and the 26650 batteries. Please if anyone has any suggestions on this please let me know. I just also bought some lg he4s and some lg hg2s because I had the green imren 3200 18650 that I thought were at least a 20 amp battery but quickly found out that they are only like a 10 amp max battery. I want to get back into using my twisted messes dripper and I like building my coils like .2-.15 and I don't want to have a pipe bomb in my hand.

Check Mooch's battery recommendations. At 80w you could use the Ijoy 26650 or a 30 amp 18650 (LG hb3/4/6). You could get by with a Sony vtc5a (not vtc5), but you'll be exceeding the cdr of the battery a bit. I can't recommend it though, and personally I wouldn't exceed 75w with the vtc5a.

Thank you for your info on that. What if I used the pressa on tc mode would that be better on the battery? Like I said I do have the pioneer 4 you sxpure tank and I can use it on the pressa in tc mode I just don't know what amps it will be wanting from the efast 26650 4200 I think mooches chart said it is rated give or take something like 20-23 amps. If I use it at 60 joules on 400 degrees like I do on my d3s would that be ok. I know it definitely heats up the efast 3100 mah bats I have now.

Thank you for the info. I have been looking at mooch's recommendations and that's why I picked up some lg batteries. I guess what I don't know is if I use temp control at 60 joules let's say 400 degrees what is the amps needed to do so. Is it different than watts? Like is 60 joules like 60 watts and if not where can I find out this info so I can make the right decisions putting together the vapes I have paired with the correct tanks rtas and batteries etc.

Basically joules is what Yihi (incorrectly) call watts in tc mode, so it's the same. 60w would in your case be the maximum.

Cool thanks for that. So I guess that is what I will use it for. With the 26650 in tc I should get a little bit longer time from it. Then I will just use the ipv with the tfv4

The Presa 100 is a decent enough TC mod. I run mine with a 30 mm RDTA (the Ohmega Calypso) with a chunky SS316L build in it (24 ga, 3.5 mm, 6 wrap, duals, 450 F, 65 watt), and it's good...

Awesome thanks ever see the ijoy limitless xl rdta rda? I was wondering if that was any good. It's got multiple build decks. I think it comes with a premade coil and a single and a duel post deck. Looks like it is easy to build on.

I have one, and it's good. However, that's a bit more of a higher wattage tank. I run mine around 145 watts. I find that it leaks a bit with lower wattages...

Yea I heard if you don't wick it right it leakes a bit also. I was thinking about getting that along with the limitless 215 watt mod and battery combo I have seen it for like 70$
