Primer Fluid - ...?

I've done research on ecigs.
I have gotten my first one.
and the one thing that is seldom mentioned is the primer fluid on the attys./

it leaves an especially horrible taste to my ego-c and I have no clue how to clean it. do I just throw the ENTIRE thing in vodka? water? everyone is saying something different and I'm not sure what is and what is not safe (one person said if I use water it will rust). and wouldent wetting the attys break them????

another question is what is the primer fluid? machine oil? inhaling that would be x10 worse then cigarettes.


i seriously need help here because i'm about to completely give up on this and throw everything out.

Never heard of priming fluid, if anything you prime it with ejuice you are going to use.
What you clean with water or vodka is the atomizer part that you fill with e juice, keep the battery dry.

Yea, you should be priming with a juice or plain PG/VG. if you don't pre-wash your readymade coils/heads they can taste a bit funny at first. I always washed and dried them and then dry burned (only if silica wick or no wick inserted yet) the coil before juicing up.

You can also just take a few hits to prime (draw on the ecig without hitting the fire button) or just let sit for 10 mins or so after filling.

Edit: be careful to not take too many as you can also flood it.
