I work at a small shop, all of the guys know the drill w/ my E-cig... but I feel your pain. In public, I try to conceal it as much as I can just because I dont feel like answering the same 10 questions that everyone else asks me... : D

I hate to ask this, Chornbro, but what are the ten questions? I haven't vaped in public yet so I haven't been asked anything by anyone.

I've vaped at work since I got my first PV for Christmas. The only thing I've heard is "What flavor are you using today". Most of the people have been very supportive of my quitting the analogs and I even got one of my co-workers to buy an eGo.

I love vaping in the office, was in a meeting last week, just pulled it out and let rip, got a few nasty looks from one .... but everybody else thought it was great, its so liberating smoking inside again, it dose piss some people off but i have found they are usually the type to be looking around trying to find something to winge about anyway.

Get some ECF cards and hand them out. They don't have to join the forums but they can look further into ecigs and educate themselves about them. It's worth a shot.

At least they let you use it. I could see working in a prison that it might be a bit of a problem. However, I don't really know what an inmate could do, harmful wise, if they got it away from you.

Trust me, They would find a way to use it... They're a thrifty bunch

I agree, e-cigs in prison. Bad idea. For prisoners at least, maybe not for guards. Metal and plastic parts, batteries, wires... they'll never be allowed. Aside from the nicotine, every part on an e-cig would be contraband in itself, let alone assembled. And for good reason, aluminum tubes could be used as shanks, and batteries and wires could be used to start fires and gawd only knows what else.

I am a manager in a manufacturing plant. I use my PV outside and do not allow the other 3 people who vape to do it inside the plant.

It may be extreme but to me it's unprofessional and a distraction when they should be working.

They can smoke cigarettes or vape all they want during breaks in the smoking area.

If it interferes with their work, makes sense. OTOH I would think that getting off cigarettes would be a behavior you would encourage. So, you might consider a place indoors and warm for vaping during breaks and not require them to go to the smoking area.

2 of them had already tried it and didn't like it. I'm sure they didn't spend time to learn how it operates and I will try to help them.

Most of the people in a group I associate with tried to switch over to vaping -- most didn't make it because the PVs they chose were totally inappropriate for them (too heavy, too awkward to use, too messy, etc.).
