Pro tank 3 coils?Replacements?

Hey guys long time no see. Hah. Anyways I'm in a confusion. I see on my pt3 the coils are short without the stem? When I look for replacements I see them with a longer stem? Do both of these work on the pro tank 3?

I have seen some of those it has just a small nub on the top. Think i may have one. It will work as long as it is the dual coil version. I've seen like 4 versions of BDC heads and they will work on the PT3, Aerotank and Aerotank mega's. As long as they are the tall chamber dual coil type. So far I prefer the old PT3 heads the aerotank head with the enclosed wick area is not as good and i think it was just to make it hard to rebuild.

the short stems are the old versions, the new ones are long stems. both seem to work the same just easier to replace the long stem ones (gives you something to hold on to). there is also a newer version like said above with the wick enclosed, haven't tried those and probably won't either..

I use the long stem versions and just make my own single coils and wick with cotton. 100% Better! takes 5 mins and is almost free.
