I bought a protank 3 of of ebay that read new in manufacturer packing and Genuine. used it for half the day at the lowest voltage my vv ego style battery would allow and before it started tasting like old pennies. so i got online to read about it and found nothing other then it's a bad coil. but the coils shown on the Manufacturer's web site are longer then the two that came with my tank. Any thoughts on rather i got a nock off?

They have switched the chimney length on the heads. Look at the base of the head with a magnifier. If you see the ohms etched into the base, they are genuine Kanger.
