I hope I'm not that late. The glue used to bind the Protank is Silicone, water based, and easily attacked by glicerin. I rebuilt mine with a clear hot glue gun. Make sure to clean everything thoroughly with acetone, make sure it's bone dry, and apply a thin layer of the hot melt on the top of the glass. Put back and keep it pressed for a few minutes until it dries. Screwing and unscrewing is not the issue here, it's bonded with the wrong glue. You can use superglue too, but hot melt will last longer and dry faster.

Homebrew cinnamon red hot + extreme ice from MBV.

Yep.

I can't use cinnamon in my pro tank anymore. My fav e-liquid is Cinnamon Sugar from velvetvapors.....and now I noticed that glue has literally been melting off my pro tank, INSIDE.....and going into the juice.

I've had to dump 2 tanks of e-liquid out.....before I finally realized what was happening. It looked like a milky white streak in my e-liquid....until I inspected closer, and realized it was glue coming from the tank. GROSS

ProTank II works fine, It's glass!

:vapor:

There' a thread somewhere about what flavorings do that...

Pro tank one is glass too....it doesn't matter.

It isn't the glass or metal that is interacting with the cinnamon, it is the glue used to hold the parts together.

Fortunately, the NEW pro tank doesn't use glue. I'm assuming the pro tank 2 doesn't use glue, either?
