I have searched and read all I can find so I thought I would ask:
Will I need an adapter? Or not?

It seems like there are a lot of differing opinions / experiences on this question.
Some say Yes, it is necessary. Some say No, it's not. Some pull or wiggle the tank threads a bit??? Some even say you need TWO!!!

Could someone please post or link me to close up photos of the TOP (battery connector) of the Pro Vari. Maybe if I see it, I'll get a better understanding.

I just received 1 Map and 2 Mini-Maps. Still waiting on the Pro Vari. When it arrives, I'd like to be able to use it without any surprises. It is important to me that the 2 pieces fit together solidly, without any gap.

In General, I am not a fan of adapters. I'd appreciate any advice from those experienced with MAPs on the Pro Vari. If an adapter IS required, Is there one out there that leaves no gap???

Thanks to all in advance.

ok, heres the break down. honest to truth, i've been using map tank on provari since i got the thing. YOU DO NOT NEED AN ADAPTOR! the base of the ce2 and the base of the map tank should be aligned. if not you can adjust, just don't yank down or shove up with excessive force. you will break your ce2(i broke 2 :p). If they are aligned properly, your MAP tank will sit flush ontop of your provari like a match made in vaping heaven. :)

ken729 is correct.

I fiddle with my MAPs all the time.

Fresh from COV, the MAP will be flush on the ProVari.

When you reload a new CE2, align the bottom of the steel tubing with the delrin and you'll be fine.

This isn't a slam on the MAP tank - I've got three, and love them - but has anyone else noticed that the long leads going to the coil cook the juice as you vape?

When the level of juice gets down, I can actually see it heating up and forming vapor in the tank as I vape. I can't get more than two fills out of any juice before I have to empty it, take it apart, and clean everything. I've been thinking about unsoldering the leads and putting small diameter silicone tubing around them, to separate them from the juice and maybe cut down on the heat transfer.

I've read somebody post the exact same issue. That would be a great idea. The tanks should be updated to include the design tweak. I

I just got my Provari and MAP tank fresh in the mail a few days apart. I'm really excited to use them, but the thing is that I can't get ANY air flow through the MAP tank. It seems like the bottom of the MAP tank is blocking the airflow with the CE2.

Any suggestions? Should I take it apart and reset the CE2? Are there any videos on this subject?

Thanks guys!

The CE2 may be pushed into the bottom delrin piece too far.

There should be a small gap between the bottom delrin cap of the tank and the ProVari.

Great, now I have airflow. I used some small pieces of paper to create a wedge between the delrim bottom cap and the top of the provari, I then screwed it down onto the provari until it was tight. Then I unscrewed it and took out the paper and saw that there was a small amount of space between them and I have airflow.

Now I have another problem, and that is that when I push the button, there is no vapor created. :( The button's light comes on, but there is no vapor at all. I'm using Tiger's Blood from Juicy Vapor, pure PG. Any more ideas PKZap27 or anyone else?

I have never seen a CE2 rated for 1.3 Ohms...

Try screwing the tank on and/or off to try and get a better contact and remeasure the Ohms of the CE2 again.

I've had trouble with a couple of CE2's in my MAP Tanks not making a good contact initially, after moving it around by unscrewing and screwing it back down I was good to go.

When I take the MAP tank off of the provari unit, the Ao value is around ~5.4. I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do to get improved contact between the MAP tank and the provari. I've pulled the CE2 core out a little more to see if it wasn't screwed all the way down, but improving the space between the MAP and Provari doesn't change the Ao from 1.3. Any more suggestions?
