...how do you know if yoouve flooded your Atty? I just started dripping today because I'm getting irritated with out messy the carts can be, and I don't think I'm flooding it but I don't really know?

I usually fiqure I flooded it if I have juice run down the sides of the battery.... not sure how to fix it when i do flood it- which is why I have like 6 atties.... I am scared to kill allmine... LOL
Lol ok. Maybe I've been doing ok then. No leakage so far! I seem to get better vapor when I use a cart though, sadly. Wo knows maybe I'm just doing something wrong! Lol
Oh ok. It did do that. looks like I flooded. I did blow it out, then cleaned with alcohol and switched attys...good to know I messed up LOL
Usually just 2-3 drops on the atty, then vape a while ( I get 6-9 draws on it) then another 2 drops or so...
If you do flood it, unscrew the atty, just grab a tissue and blow into the open end with the tissue wadded by the threaded end to catch the juice and blow out excess, wipe atty, wipe battery at the connector area real well also then you should be good to go. Sometimes a lil swish and a few blow-throughs in some pure grain alcohol (vodka, everclear etc...) will clean it out also. That works for changing flavors too =)

Flooding an atty is no big deal. You can blow it out and keep on going. It won't kill it. (we wash them and submerge in water, etc)
You can even 'flood' a batty and repair it. Though that is tougher to do. Takes a lot of hanging upside down to drip and sucking out the juice from the batty end (electric zap anyone?) and more drying and a little praying.
Doesn't always work. So if you use auto batts, I suggest keeping a good supply on hand!!

Thanks so much everyone! I really want to keep dripping just seems easier. I've got an auto and a manual battery, I like my manual better go figure lol.
Yeah, like the others said, if it gurgles it's flooded. You can either vape through it until it's vaping alright, or blow it out and try again. You know you need to drip again when you get that nasty burnt taste, and only 2-3 drops.

Awesome. I feel better. I didn't think I was getting that much from the few drops, but I never got the burnt taste so I guess it was just a low battery.

So glad to know I'm not alone! Although, the burnt taste tip did help, I think I've got it now! I can go a lot longer with 3 drips than I thought. Whoohoo, means my juice will last longer.
