Are all 510s compatible? I bought my starter from e-smokey treats and want to buy the 5-packs of attys and batts from east mall. Will these work with the batts, attys, and charger I already have?
Thanks
Got a shipment of 4 attys from Eastmall last week and the carts just slip in and out, there is no "grip" holding them in. Really frustrating. I need to see if there's a way to fix these old attys to fit the new carts. Maybe crimping them just a wee bit at the midway point to give the carts some squeeze.

You could heat up a paper clip by holding it over a flame then light touching/pressing in to 4 spots on the carts inside. This will make 4 little bumps that should hold it on better.

I'd rather fix the attys than the carts for 2 reasons. The first being that I have some working attys for the 510 and having them all work with the carts would save "logistical" time. The second reason being that I don't want some carts to fit into some attys and others not to. I have some 901 carts around but they're MIA in some anamolous drawer and frankly I'm too lazy to sift through junk drawers to find them.
I'll try a "crimp" hell if I break the atty no big deal I have plenty to spare. If it fixes it, then I've created a simple solution. Pliers+pressure = fix.
UPDATE: Just crimped them really quick. Took some needle nosed pliers and added pressure just below the midpoint. They are all now fully functional and fine.
Thanks for the input, good to know since I just spent 140$ with eastmall on atty's and batts and a PCC. If I have to modify my attys, that's okay, since it sounds pretty easy. I've wanted to try the flat tips for a while so ordered 3 boxes of those, hopefully I'll be set for a while either way.
