Problem getting 6V with RCR123A 3.0V in SB

I'm having problems fitting two "Tenergy RCR123A 3.0V 750mAh LiFePO4" for my SB V1.0 , anyone else having the same problem or solutions to this? Thanks!

I think you have to buy the adapter (bottom part) from alt smoke.

You have the older version of the Silver Bullet, you would need the newer bottom to use those batteries. You can still do 6v, but with unprotected CR2...I would recommend getting the newer bottom. If you were on the first batch of preorders, you should've received a coupon code for the bottom

The V1.1 is the newer version. So in short yes you are getting the new version

All SB now being made will all be V1.1, the first version is discontinued.

question about the cr2- when the BB is available for order (or maybe I'll be lucky enough to be chosen for a tester- doubt it since I pretty much have no luck on things like that) but do they make cr2 bats that are rechargeable and do they make protected cr2s? also for the BB- I assume the cr2s come in 3v- what mah are the most commonly rated on? Sorry, I should probably do a search but im lazy and also I like to hear what the creators are using. I am going to purchase a couple tomorrow to have and try for some homemade mods.

you cannot fir any RC213A batts in the regular SB.

the only TWO 3 volt batteries you can fit in the regular SB are TR 15270 800mAH

There is a guy called "AW" on cpfmarketplace who used to make protected RCR2's...don't know if he is still making them now...

you can freely get unprotected RCR2's from sites like "lighthound", "batteryjunction", "batterytstation", etc - Although it seems that CR2's are falling out of favour in the flashlight world, so much more runtime from CR123's for a small size increase.

(RCR2's have an average of 300mAh - 350mAh)
