Hiyas. I bought two starter kits for my wife and I from e-cig. Aside from my problems with their quality control among other things, I've been trying to find a supplier of carts for our batteries and I can't seem to find any. I'm assuming I've seen them but without having a "part/model" number I'm not sure. The ones we bought are called "E8". The diameter is 8mm. The carts have a female end that attaches to the battery. Are these mini's or ...? I'm gonna switch to an eGo or at least something that uses "510" stuff as I believe the vast majority of parts/mods etc seem to be made around that size/style. If I'm wrong in that please correct me :) My wife however wants to stick with the "E8" but won't order from e-cig so that's the reason for my dilemma. Glad I found this site btw :) o/

Congrats and great choice to move to an eGo. Check out the popular Fat Batt models also. The Riva (eGo clone) is $30 for a kit at Liberty-flights.com. Choose Lite Bundle. You can use Low Resistance (down to 2.0 ohms) on the Riva for a warmer, cigarette-like draw. It's a bit more powerful than an eGo. Can't go wrong with either choice. If you buy an eGo, be sure it's labeled "Joye" at the front of the name. There are some shady knock-offs out there called eGo that are having issues. You're safe at LF.

Sorry, I don't know about your mini and where you can get supplies and replacements. Watch for Dormouse and WomanOfHeart among others for advice on your slim mini type ecig.

Boodle, you are too kind! :)

sonofspain, you definitely have a mini e-cig and my honest opinion is that you probably aren't going to be happy with it. Replacement parts are a PITA to find and expensive to buy. As a general rule, the smaller the battery, the less battery life you'll have between charges. The charges also start lasting less and less over time, so you'll find yourself charging more and vaping less.

If you don't mind an e-cig that doesn't look like a cigarette, then check out Liberty-Flights for a Riva 510. These batteries will last at least 6-8 hours between charges and they are inexpensive. Replacement parts are super easy to find and cheap, cheap, cheap! Liberty-Flights also gives you a 20% discount by simply clicking on the discount code tab at the top of the page. I've purchased from them several times and haven't been disappointed.

If you really want it to look like a cigarette, then go with Smokeless Image. Again, easy to find, inexpensive replacement parts and lots of options. These use a KR808D-1 type battery.

Yeah E8 you are kinda up a creek. E8 is a Chinese wholesaler model, sort of a miniature of KR808D-1 w/ less voltage, and I don't know any vendors that use E8. This rebrander might still sell an E8 not their PR110): http://www.premiumecigarette.com/

IMO - If you want slim ecigs, accept 9.2mm diameter and look at KR808D-1 at Vapor4Life.com (which is like the original manufacturer model) and a slightly different style at SmokelessImage, Bloogplanet, Halocigs G6

I recommend manual batteries if you will be refilling cartomizers (I can get a week of use out of each carto by keeping them damp with suitable liquid). Vapor4Life manuals are somewhat sealed inside and have an easy to press button. The others I listed may be rubberized (Volt is) and claim slightly longer charge w/ fully sealed threaded end on the manuals but a tiny partially recessed harder to press button and possibly a shorter safety cut-off (may restrict to a slightly shorter drag vs the Vapor4Life). Manuals make it easier to get a good hit and are harder to damage or kill with juice leaks. Sizes 180/220mah, and for the standard aka 78mm 280/320mah for 120mm length assembled (the Volt/Bloog/Halo type claims the longer battery charge but is very slightly less voltage with 3.6 vs 3.7v)

Alternately - Joye 510 manual 180mah, Joye 510 mega xl manual 280mah (and 128mm long with a cartomizer). Joye Ego 650mah+. Or the Riva 510 650mah from Liberty-Flights.com (the kits there are 3.7v so a bit higher voltage than Ego and the new SE model has a 3-click on/off feature). The fat battery models have the option of using the hotter low resistance atomizers and cartomizers.

100mah is about 1 hour of moderate vaping

To get a week use out of each I use thin liquids, PG with 20% or less VG (often 10% or less), and I avoid liquids that seem to drop a lot of carto-clogging flavoring sediment
