Try again.
What do you mean by - Goes down in wattage?
What is the Top wattage setting with no Topper on the mod?
What batteries are you using?

Peak wattage may be determined by Peak Output Voltage allowed.
Is the Peak Output Voltage being modified by the update?

Why 3.10 not 3.11, 3.12, 3.13?

I actually tried about 3 times, At first i did the 3.13 and thought that was the problem then i decided to downgrade to 3.10. the top wattage went from 142.9 before the upgrade to 139.7 after the upgrade. It also does some weird thing where it changes it to. temp ss316 mode and it says 200w power in the menu but its in temp control mode, so that doesnt make any sense. OH! just tried it without the tank on, works fine. shows 200w. thats weird. Thanks for the clarifications sir. And the batteries i dont know I got them second hand from a friend, just from looking at them they are INR18650-25r Green with a sticker that says18650 3.7v 2500mah.

Ah, I think I understand.

Although the Cuboid is a 200 watt mod (I own two of them), that 200 watts will ONLY be applied within a certain (and VERY narrow) range of parameters.

The maximum current output of the Cuboid is 25 amps, and the maximum voltage output is 9 volts.

It will only run at 200 watts from 0.32 ohms (limited by current at lower resistance) to about 0.405 ohms (limited by voltage at higher resistance). Outside that range, it will give you the maximum allowed wattage within its limits.

Now, as to why your maximum wattage went down after the firmware upgrade, I'm guessing that the firmware may have changed the way it calculates power.

In temperature control mode, it's kind of a different animal. It's still going to limit the output to 25 amps OR 9 volts, whichever is more limiting, no matter what your selected power is. Because a TC coil's resistance changes when it's heating up or cooling down, the mod constantly calculates temperature by reading that resistance (almost) constantly and varying the power output to maintain your set temperature. The wattage it's showing is only the maximum POSSIBLE power output it COULD apply to heat up the coil IF resistance falls inside it operating envelope.
