My wife used to smoke light cigarettes so we ordered e-liquids with a 40%PG/60%VG mix (since PG is what produces the throat hit and VG produces more vapor). We just received some Dual Coil tanks for use and I filled up a DCT for her to use at work. On her drive to work, the DCT vaped fine. Then she went into a store for about ten minutes, leaving the DCT in the car standing straight up. When she got back into her car, she found that most of the e-liquid was gone, but didn't leak anywhere. So I'm assuming that most of the e-liquid went into through the punched hole and flooded the cartomizer. When she tried using it again, it didn't work at all.

My question is, is the 40%PG/60%VG mix too thick to use with a DCT? I've been using the DCT with 80%PG/20%VG just fine and love it. Or could it be a defect in the DCT/punched carto?

Are you punching one small hole in the DCC? I have found that if the hole is slotted or punched to be too big, the carto will flood and leak in a tank. I use 1 smallish or two small holes. Slotting never works for me with the DCC.
I use a 50/50 blend with no problem if the hole size is right.

Good luck to you.
