Hello. I will just copy and paste this from previous thread since @BrotherBob suggested me to also post it here.

so i have this rta for a week now. I have watched all the videos for building this rta, looked at all posts on this forum regarded to this rta, tried many coils, more cotton, less cotton.. And i just can't get it right. I've wicked it at least 30 times and almost all the time there is not much vapour coming out and it tastes like ..... Sometimes it's even gurgling and spitting.. I'm giving up on this one, had no problems with Berserker mini or with Siren.. Ammit is original not a copy. So if anyone can help me with something i would be realy gratefull.

Try rayon as a wicking material? I have one, wicked it with rayon, (with that said, I wick everything with rayon) and had no difficulties. Some stuff you just got to try different wick with and that RTA may be one of them, IDK.
Good luck, I hope you don't give up quite yet.

I can't remember what coils I used but they came out to about 1.0 resistance.

Good luck,
Anna

    Somewhere between here and there
I didn't have problems with dry hits but did have problems with flooding with the ammit mtl. I found that I had to be very careful with the cotton placement and had to keep it away from the center or it would flood and gurgle. After wetting the wick, I took a small screwdriver and made sure the cotton wasn't near the airflow holes. It was frustrating to put in a fresh build and then have it flood all over the place. I haven't used mine in a while. I can get it out this weekend and put a build in it to refresh things in my mind.

I have one but haven't built on it for awhile as I no longer mtl vape.

What coil are you using, the one that came with packaged with it? If you wrapped your own, what ohm and what is the inner diameter of the coil?

Wick needs to be tight in the coil and and needs to fill the juice hole completely or it will gurgle and spit

@hittman yeah this is my problem almost always with this rta. But what do you mean by keeping away from the centre, since you put your wick in wicking holes and this is it. For example my wick looks like this

    Anything seems wrong there?

    Picture doesn't show.

You can actually upload it here and insert it.

Here is my build and coils that i use. It shows about 0.9ohms. I even tried spacing them a bit sometimes, but it makes no difference.

    @bombastinator thanks for help.

It’s clear more detailed instructions are needed:
-Select the image you want and hit “copy”
-you can then either go to the site reply box and select “paste” or
-go to the toolbar on the top of the reply area and hit the camera icon then follow the instructions. Imagur links are not going to work.

yeah they are 2.5mm. ok i will try with 3mm 26g kanthal wire i have at home. so you need to wick it pretty tihght?

Yes it needs to be tight in the coil. It needs to also block the juice hole but just go down inside the channel to bottom, not overly long to bunch up and block air holes.

I saw where someone already mentioned it but I always use 3mm coils. After I wet the wick, I run a small screwdriver down the side and try to not let the wick rest on the silver part in your picture where the coil ends and the wick starts there is the silver/metal part of the deck. I try to keep the wick off that metal part. I learned that with the augvape merlin. If I let the wick touch the center of the deck then liquid leaks down and floods the airflow.

Tried it again. Wicked more tight and there is finnaly some vapour. But taste is like im vaping cotton not apple eliquid.
Cotton looks wet enough so i realy dont know what is the problem. Tomorrow i will try with 3mm coil and we will see.
How many vapes did you take? I notice there are no heat marks on the coil and no coloration on the wick. The first couple hits are going to taste cottony if you use cotton. As to flavor that one gets hard. It’s possible you got a tongue burn from all the previous spitting in which case nothing is going to taste like anything.

not many because i cant even vape this its so harsh on the throat and vapour feels realy dry. i will try and do some puffs without inhaling to see if it will get any better. i don't think this is the case because i tried my friends berserker mini today and the taste was amazing.
Getting an RTA to work right is always harder than getting an RDA to work right. They’re just a lot simpler and don’t require the same kind of exactitude. If you don’t want to go through the trouble to gat a particular RTA to perform (and they’re all a bit different) perhaps a squonker is more up your street. They’re RDAs with a juice bottle in the mod. Makes them large of course.
