i find i get really easy deep moist smoke with throat hit with6V but 3 V not great because hits are thin and cool/cold with weak throat hit.
here's the weird thing, if i press hard on the button the vaping improves significantly tried different spacer. washer combos but same thing.
Wondering if the odd shape of the rechargeable batteries
has anything to do with it. the bottom of the batteries are slanted as in not 90° with the sides. the 2 batteries for 6V are perfectly flat on the bottom.
anyone else have similar experience?

Are you confirming that that's the reason I'm getting
the weird performance? I'd rather it be the batteries
than the superT.
So if I go ahead and continue to use them and deal with
having to grip the the superT button tight to get proper
performance am I taking any risk of damaging either the superT
or the batteries? When I say tight grip I really mean
tight like A fist. Actually looks a bit comical when I'm doing
it. Sometimes it's with two hands.
Is there a gaurantee on these batteries? These are
the ones sent with my superT order.

It's almost certainly the battery as the Super T switch is just a solid chuck of metal:) You should only have to lightly push on it to make contact. I'd guess the protection circuit is disconnected from the battery in some way and you're having to jam it up on there to make it work. I'll send you out a new set of batts...You'll probably want to order yourself some extra batteries too from battery junction or the like as just having two is asking for trouble:)
