I have been told that these are not the same, as the ones sold with the Prodigy are 750 mAh, these are 900mAh. Interesting fact is that they say you must charge up to 5 times to reach full potential. I have now charged 8 times and each time they are lasting longer..

8 hours yesterday, which is really good !... ah, but will it last? only time will tell.

i got some of these with the prodigy, and they work great, but i still prefer my dx ones because of the longer battery life.
not the same as the prodigy batt, those are 750Mah and not protected

you guys are killing me looking only at the printed Mah
what is written on the batt and the actual real rating of the batt are 2 different things
what is the point of buying a batt that says 3000 but in reality is only 2500 or so. DX does have batt that have the rating that is printed but
always check the reviews or if non then google.

Funky you say that not all are what they say they are... and I am trying to learn about batteries, so I bought a multimeter and eventually learnt how to use that, but how do you test the battery for mAh?

If I have a 3.7v battery, I set the multimeter and take a reading, and usually it confirms the v readiing... is there a way of testing mAh on them?

hey Christina
the simplest way to find out the mAh of your batts is to use a Lipo/Liion charger that shows you the info directly
something like this
http://www.airthunder.com/bantame-stationbc6-10balancingcharger.aspx
lipo/lions were fisrtly mainly used in RC, so they have quite a few good chargers
RC peeps are also very pickey about their batts so naturally the chargers came with
testing circuits and other cool stuff to let you know what your batt was doing
to test the effective mAh of a batt you need to discharge it to 2.75v then charge
when it reaches the cut off or 4,2v the charger will tell you how many mAh the battery can take

you can also usea battery analyzer , will give you a complete run down of your batt
its performace and such. the best way

That is one impressive bit of kit... And its available in the UK.

Its certainly something I will put on my wish list...lol, £119. A bit too much to spend to find out mAh readings...

But I can start saving up...lol

The RC stuff is very specialised, and Im not...lol

Thanks for all that info though, much appreciated.

an other very good piece of kit when your using lion is the ZTC batt tester
the thing only tells you how much capacity your batt has left ,no volts or mah or nothing
but for peeps who use 6V+ , it helps match up batts , so you get the best out of em

Thanks friend, i was looking for something like this for a long time lol.
