The problem i have with the cartomizers is i'm getting a very odd taste i ordered cartomizers from people's favorite suppliers i ordered my favorite flavors and the flavor is nothing at all like i get from my other e-cigs dripping or filling cart.
So i ordered a bunch of empty cartomizers and filled them with my own juice they took around 30 drops to fill and i'm still getting this very odd taste it's really hard to explain the taste i guess it's almost like vaping the cartomizer along with the juice if that makes any sense.I don't understand what's going on since it seems that alot of people like the cartomizers and the taste they get from them but i just can't handle this very odd taste that i'm getting from these cartomizers.
I guess i'm wondering why i'm the only one that seems to get this horrible taste from them or if i'm not the only one experiencing this.

I dont know but its really hard to read your post when you dont use any puncuation it makes it hard to graps the concept of what you are trying say or even if your actually asking a question or just typing a bunch of words because punctuation is what seperates a persons thoughts and makes for a more impactful statement.

I personally dont have an answer for you I use cartomizers from my favorite suppliar and sometimes they dont taste very good right in the beginning and then after a few drags they get better and then I refill them as needed and I dont have a metallic taste

English is my second language i was worried more about my spelling than anything else if my post is not understandable than maybe mod can remove.

No problem and I dont think the mods will have to move it I was just pointing out that its hard to understand your questions and thoughts when theres no punctuation to break it up after reading it a couple times though I was able to imagin where the periods and commas would probably be thus I was able to provide you with my own experiences with cartomizers hope I helped.:D

This thread and conversation has to do with 2-piece cartomizer units. Cartridge mods don't apply.

Scott, I took it that 'blurising' was saying that if one was trying to get away from dripping by using cartomizers, then the blue foam plug might give one an alternative to cartomizers that can make a fill up last pretty long. But I could be wrong.

Looking again.. I reckon that could have been the case and I didn't see the connection.

If so.. my apologies!

I just tried my first cartomizers and while it is likely that different vendors have different juices in the cartos - I've experienced about the same thing that you have with them. Terrible tasting - as if you have to vape away the primer fluid at first (I don't know enough about them yet to know if there's a fix for this). The juice itself wasn't that good except for the 555 which was quite good. My problem was that the KR808D-1 which was supposed to be an 8 second cutoff was really a 5 second cutoff and I ran into it on every drag... and what a drag it is.

The other thing that was present on all that I tried was I burnt my lip on the carto with the atty in to close proximity.... I would have to 'relearn' that of course but it seemed like even when I just had the least lip on the mouthpiece it was still hot. And I'm used to the warmth of the 510 but it seems that the separate cart on the 510 does dissipate the heat whereas with the cartomizer there direct conduction and it is hot enough to where it could blister you. Again, I don't know enough to know if there's a 'workaround' on this also but I'd never recommend this to an older person because it was 'less hassle' than a 3 piece. They could very easily burn themselves. For the rest of the 555 carts, I'm going to use one of the rubbers that they were packed in and put a hole in it to line up with the hole in the mouth piece. That should help some.

The KR808D-1 lasted 2 hours and the carts lasted about 2:15 hours which would be good except for the hotness. The vapor was good about every other drag and not nearly as consistent as the 510 or the Janty Stick. And I get about 2x the time with the 510 mega with the same mAh rating. I don't understand that.

It really hasn't been that great of an experience but it was just a few sessions. I haven't tried the refilling 'workaround' and have to research some other stuff as there has to be some workaround for the burnt lips thing and perhaps how to 'blowout the primer' on an atty you can't see. lol

Yes,that's what i meant at least you and the person i meant it for understood.

In fairness to Scott, I had to read it a few times to get that. But I had to figure you weren't just making an off topic comment in order to figure that out. ;-)

Sometimes people are just rude. I understood perfectly what you were saying. I am an English teacher and can assure you your English is very good. Most people in this country can only use one language, so I applaud your accomplishments. Pay no attention to petty criticism.
