so to start of id like to say im only posting this thread under this section because i didnt know where else to put it so dont get all mad if this isant the right place for this

so i went to vix vapes in san clemente and bought a ecig kit. its the one that doesnt seem to have a brand name it just says electronic cigarrette on the box. (in the maual it say mint electronic cigarette idk if thats the brand or not) its a automatic ecig that comes in white or black and also comes with six carts prefilled with tobacco flavor, and a charger. so i bought it and used one of the batteries, then used the other one, it the light at the tip did not light up and it produced no vapor, so i figured it was out of battery. i went home plugged it in and the charger light was green and the light on the ecig was green meaning it was fully charged, i hooked up the cart and inhaled and still no light or vapor. put it back on the charger for like 20minutes eventhough the light was green. took it off and same thing happened. im curious if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a way to fix it or if i have a faulty battery and need to return it. so the green light works but the front red light that is supossed to go on when you inhale does not. please help thanks

Try it with a different cartomizer. If the other cartomizers do the same thing then it is most likely a bad battery. If your kit came with a second battery, then try the second battery with the cartomizer that wasn't working on the first battery. If that works, then you know the first battery is most likely the culprit.

Return it if you can....or....

Not sure if this is it... but occasionally the center post get's pushed down inside the connector. Pry it up gently with a paperclip or some such while the unit is off (not pushing button). Don't force it too much or break it.

Also, if you have a multimeter you can check to see if it is producing any voltage at all when the button is pressed.

I just had a silver 78 die in just a little over a month of having it and an X2 have problems. With the X2 I found a little eyeglass screwdriver and (gently) pulled the center post up and that was the problem (I had posted my problem and someone told me what to do, too). However it kept up all weekend and finally I gave up trying to fix it. Fortunately I buy Smokeless Image products and they stand by them. I already sent the silver back and am getting a replacement and tomorrow will be sending back the X2 and will get a replacement for that. I recommend Smokeless Image. I tried another company before I found SI and all I was doing was charging batteries all the time. (Didn't like their flavors or customer service either) The 78's from SI last me around 5 hours before I have to charge again. I love them.
And btw there is a forum here for Battery Issues. :p I'm still a newb and just found it!
