Just got my 18350....(WoW!) and have been using it quite happily with my 306DCA, however, wanted to try out my Ego Vision carto on it using an 510/Ego adapter, but no go, get nothing. I suspect that that the centre pole of the adapter is not long enought to reach the centre contact on 18350. Does anyone know a workaround as I'd love to be able to use the Ego stuff i've got lying around? Cheers, Iain

Hi MrSheen... I have a 18350 as well. It's great. Today I received a couple of Vision Star Dusts and an ego/510 adapter. I hooked them up and I didn't think I had a connection either. The Star dust was empty... I was just checking the connection.
I then filled the Star Dust with juice and used it on an Ego battery and it worked fine. I thought, lets try it again on the 18350 and the filled Star Dust works like a charm on it.

You could try screwing the carto onto the adapter first (which may push the center post down further), then screw the adapter/carto as one onto the P+.
Vaud, tried all the ego units on the adapter and got the same, no joy......so, i tried forcedfuel50's idea and screwed the adapter onto the the 18350 harder than I had before, and, BINGO! 
works like a bloody charm!! I am chuffed to bits! Going to leave the adapter on as I'm constantly changing from DCA to Ego to 510 as my mood takes me and I've got the darned thing working the way I want it to, don't want to touch it and bugger it up again! lol
Forcedfuel50, I belive that the 18350 was made by you, is that correct? If so, Sir , may I shake your hand? It is a truely beautiful piece of craftsmanship, and I feel this mod may last me a lifetime. My go-to ecig used to be my old Screwdriver MKII which died recently, I don't think I will be having any such problems with the 18350.
Also, do you recommend lubricating the mating parts on the device? If so, what would your recommended lubricant be?

510-eGo adapters : put finger on the bottom of the adapter to prevent it to rotate, and use a screwdriver on the center upper inside piece, as long as you hold the bottom in place, you will be able to unscrew it and raise the center a bit. Same time the bottom will get pushed out slightly, and connection will be ok.
