Problem with my banner

Hey all, thanks in advance for any help you provide.

So I've made a banner, but it isn't updating each day with the number of cigarettes avoided and the savings. When making the banner I found that pasting the entire html code into the html spot in my signature returned as "invalid file" so I removed all of the miscellaneous <href> <a> stuff and got it to accept the http://sitename/banner.jpg part, which at least gave me a banner in my sig but apparantly I took too much out and generally don't understand what I need to do in order to have a functional banner!

Any insight you can provide is appreciated!

Moved from Ask the Vets Answers queue to feedback and help.

When you set up your banner you need to copy the BB Code from the site, not the html code. Just select it all and paste it directly into your signature edit box. (make sure you clear out all of the old stuff in the edit box first!)
