No reason for that. Let's look at all the possibilities. Will one atty work on both batts? Will the other only work on one of the batts? It sounds like you have an atty that is not making contact on one of the batts for some reason. This could be dimensions related to the threads and the contact height.

If one atty is good on both batts, then the other must be defectively assembled and there's a micro gap when it is screwed into one of the batts. This is called tolerance buildup which means that one or both are not to spec and the atty is probably built outside the specs for contact height and penetration into the batt.

Call the supplier. There's usually a warranty period for new parts, especially if you bought a kit.

Because some attys are not meant to work on all battery's, or connectors. If you ask the China MFG they will tell you like this as I was told, YOU Westerners you think think that our attys will work on all your products, we make our attys to work on our battery's, and connectors not yours. You can try modding it, but if you are new, just hold on to the atty their will be another connector that will work for you sometime down the road when you buy something different.

Look at the atty that isnt working. Look at the end that attaches to the battery. Notice the white ring? The center part there actually moves. If it isnt pushed out far enough it doesnt make contact with the battery properly. Yu can GENTLY pry it back up with tweezers. Sometimes that fixes the problem youre describing.

Yes, this. Exactly this. But I literally just put my thumb nail under the center post and pry it up a little bit and it works every time. :)

its the attys that came with my starter kit so i know it cant be due to not all work on all batts. but that i found out it is, when i screw the atty all the way down it dont work, what i have to do is screw it all the way in, and then unscrew it 3/4 of a rotation then it will work......its a pain cause with it this loose i constantly have to play with it by screwing and unscrewing all day long....anything i can do to fix this issue?

Not the white circle part that separates the Positive from the Negative, and never over tighten because you can throw off, and/or ruin that circle part which is a separator. If the Negative touches the Positive it will create a short, and your battery will short out also. That is why everyone should use Protected Battery's, so when this happens with protected battery's they will not BLOW UP.

Now look at the atty. Look at the end that goes into the battery. You will see( from the center ) a hole, then a white ring, then the threads. The part inside the white ring ( containing the hole ) moves. It needs to be at least flush with the end of the threads. If it isnt it wont make contact with the battery properly, thus making it unusable. If your fingernails are long enough, you can get them under that movable post ( ALWAYS DO THIS GENTLY ) and lift it ever so slightly. I keep my nails cropped very short so I use the business end of some tweezers ( VERY GENTLY )

If that doesnt work and you think the problem is due to the atty being dirty, you can soak it in iso alcohol, vodka or everclear.

Watch this video:

Thats Cozzicon. He knows his stuff. Be sure to look at his you tube channel HERE

He has a ton of videos that have been extremely helpful

Lastly, order up at least 4 extra atomizers ( check them as soon as you recieve them ) Ive been lucky and have only had one Atty die on me. Others I resurrected using Cozzions video. The weird thing about atomizers is they can last two months or two days. You just never know. Having extras is a must.
