Problem with my iTaste MVP 2

I've been using it all day, no more than I used my eGo battery. Maybe 50-100 puffs. I read that the MVP can charge 3rd party devices in the manual, and my iphone was getting very low so I used it to charge it for about 15 mins well then after that I couldn't use it to vape at all, so I waited until I got home and plugged it in, and it's sitting on the green light while charging which I thought meant it had a hefty amount of charge left on the battery. When I take it off the charger though, it does the normal boot up (red light, yellow light, green light) and then flashes "888" on the VV/VW display, and then is immediately followed by "1E.1" and just repeats that. Is the battery just extremely dead? I was under the impression from the manual it would go from green to yellow to blinking red. I'm not sure what I could've done, but this doesn't to be good.

Did you switch the output button back to the off position?

Yes, immediately after I took the phone off it.

I don't have a v2 yet, but I have 2 of the v1's I've had allmost 11 months. I have never seen them do anything like that. Maybe flip the output switch back on and off a few times.

Now when I put it on the charger it appears to just be "Boot looping" it just does the red yellow green light over and over again. It appears this could be defective which would be REEEEEEEEEEAAAAALLLLLLLYYYYYYY annoying.

Yes I know the difference, I have 2 of the V2's and 2 VTR's ordered. I don't like seeing problems with them.

Does it keep doing it when its not on the charger?

looks like you might have completely drained the battery with that cell phone charge.

While charging, if it's dangeroulsy low, when you plug it in the light will be red until it builds to yellow and then to green and it'll stay green until the light shuts off and then it is fully charged (MVP v1). I don't see innokin changing that.

Yep if it's doing it and take the charger off it will just keep going until I hold down the main button. Then afterwards it does nothing, it blinks red indicating battery below 3.3 but then I put it on the charger and occasionally I can get it to show me it's at a 4.1.

Also... you ARE using the supplied Innokin charging cable to charge the MVP aren't you? With a wall adapter?

On the charger the battery reads 4.3, but off the charger it won't do anything other than do the boot sequence and give me the 888 and 1E.1 message then flash red.

It uses a standard usb micro. I charge mine off several different ones I have. Maybe take a bright light and see if something inside the usb got bent when you pulled the cord out after you charged your phone.

Nothing bent on the inside, now it appears to be charging. It's not boot looping on the charger, and the light is green but as soon it comes off the charger it does the light sequence and the same two messages on the screen.

You can let it charge for a while and see what happens. Did you try turning it off with the 3 clicks?

I'm gonna do that and if it doesn't work by the time I go to sleep tonight(about 3 more hours, it's already been charging for the last 1 1/2) I'll talk to my vendor. I really have no idea what it could be though, because it off the charger will let me adjust the Voltage and Wattage, but the second I push the main button and take a draw, it reboots, and doesn't let me do anything.

So it acts normal up untill you try to use it? If so have you tried changing out your clearo or whatever you are using?

Yeah it's starting to not boot loop on the charger, I've tried my iClear30, Protank, and Evod. All the same result.
