Problem with my KSD eGo VV

I just received my VV in the mail. The first thing I did was to charge it fully (until the red light on the tip was out). Once that was done and I tried to use it at 3.7v, it would work a couple of times, then the ring would flash red then reset itself back to 3.2v.

No problem, I figure the battery needs more charging so I pop it back in the charger and wait 2 hours after the red light on the tip goes out. Same thing. I switch it to 3.7v, it works for a couple of draws, then blinks and returns to 3.2v. I'm using it with a SR Stardust so I don't *think* it's that.

Any ideas? Maybe bad batt?

I had a VV battery that did the same thing with one Vision (not the Stardust). It would reset to 3.2 on it's own. After resetting the battery back to 3.7v a couple of times it worked fine and stayed at the voltage I set it at. I had to do this every time after I charged it.

Have you tried a different atty or carto on it to see if it does it with all of them?

Very odd indeed.I would call your vendor and see what they have to say.I think your right, the battery sounds like its having issues.

Mine do this a few times immediately after removing them from the charger. I asked about this in a thread before and the consensus seemed to be that they were just going into protect mode due to the voltage being a bit too high.....and that juice in the connector can cause this.

Give it a good swab with ISO on a q tip.... I finds mine used to do this a lot and still do, but not a much.
