I just purchased a new Kanger Aero tank from my local vape shop. I followed the few step directions to put it together and fill it then waited for a few minutes to allow coil saturation like stated. The first hit I took I got nothing but a mouthfull of e-juice. Took it apart and restarted the process. This time it seamed ok but the air control was so tight I couldn't get any draw. So I try and adjust the draw and all the e-juice leaked out. Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong?

There's nothing like a hands on approach when dealing with a problem like yours. Take it back to the shop where it was purchased and have them work out the problem.

We can try to guess the problem with it all day but an experienced person can get you fixed up in a minute or two.

If there is a defect in your tank, they should be happy to replace it with another.

I will take it back to the shop, just wont be able to until tomorrow and was kind of excited about it. I think I figured out the problem, The knurled knob for adjusting the airflow appears to be stuck with the airflow completely cutoff. When I tried adjusting the airflow it actually unscrewed the base from the tank which allowed the juice to leak out. Thanks for the replies.

I've had that issue myself and the only way I could find to solve it was to hold the body of the tank with a rubber pad, (one of those pads used to assist in opening a tight jar lid.) and a tiny pair of pliers to turn the air ring so I wouldn't damage the surrounding assembly.

You can't put much pressure on that ring as it will easily be reshaped to out of round, be difficult or impossible to rotate properly and a seller might not take it back if you've damaged it.

I'm sure there's other ways of solving that issue but I thought I'd share mine.

There are some Kanger AeroTanks out there that have badly machined bases and the air ring won't turn at all. I was surprised when I bought one and the seller included an additional base. The base that was packaged with the tank was unusable.

Just to update, the shop owner replaced my tank since the adjustment was inoperable. However, the I still seam to be getting very little vapor production with this tank compared to the Ce4.
What's the resistance of the coil you have in it and what are you using it on? Aerotanks are a pretty decent vape, but want a bit more power than some of the older, smaller clearos.

Like 'Rossum' said ... AeroTanks are a pretty good vape.

The deal with them is ... It's a dual coil design and initially comes in 2.0 ohms when new. You need to feed it right at 4.5 volts for it to work well.

Get yourself an adjustable volt battery a set it at 4.5 volts ... you will be happy :)
________________________________

If you don't have an adjustable battery, buy a replacement 5-pack of 1.5 ohm coils for it and then you will be ok with your 3.7 fixed volt battery.

BTW ... The AeroTank takes the same coil / wick replacement cartridge as the ProTank 3.
