Problem With Pro Tank

Hi all, quick question. Got two protank 2's today. One has a perfect draw. The other, no draw when tightened down.

I purchased two pro tanks. I tried the first one and absolutely hated it. Whistling air and no flavor. I even tried removing a couple of layers of the wick. I think I heard on a video review that doing that was supposed to help. After reading this thread, maybe I will open the other protank and see if I have any better luck. I love the evods and the flavor I get with them but the protank has been a huge disappointment for me. Hopefully the one I used was a dud and the second one will change my mind. Both are authentic Kanger brands.

I had that happen to me! I returned it for another at the vape shop. I think it's because the threading is off enough to block air flow. The pro tank 2 is out and it's had an improved design!

I have mixed feelings on the protank. I love the design and with certain juices the flavor is fine. I've become a huge fan of Boba's Bounty and cannot, for the life of me, get it to taste right with the Protank 2. On the protank 1 it is hit and miss. I've gotten in the habit of rebuilding my heads with 3mm wick and 32g kanthal. It's a bit of a chore at first, but after building a couple I've found it to be cost effective with better performance. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to taste as I think it should, very muted and watery. I've given up on the protank and use the vivi nova for BB. Much better taste (yesterday I got my first RBA and that is better than both the vivi and PT, but out of the scope of this thread).

So there are alot of variables involved that will alter the performance.

I feel that rebuilding them can drastically improve performance. But I understand not everybody wants to get that involved.

I purchased it for use with juices that crack or discolor tanks. What are the other options for glass tanks. I also don't like the metal tip. Feels cold.

I like mine alright. I like that I can completely disassemble it when cleaning and what not. I haven't had any problems with it.

I had the same issues with two X9 Protanks I got from Fast Tech. I replaced the heads with genuine Kanger Pro Tank heads and have had zero issues ever since. They now work flawlessly!
