Yes, that sticky is the place to start. You do need to make a few posts in the New Member Forum before you can go elsewhere, add a banner and pictures, etc. And, you can only make 70 starter threads there. Thereafter, you are good to go, all of which is explained. Time, alone, will not do it. Need to make a few more posts. Best to you and Welcome!

Setting post limits in a specific area helps keep spammers in one location and makes it easier to nuke spam when it occurs. 5 posts is nothing. Jump in, get your feet wet, and it goes rather quickly. Just don't spam 5 posts to up your count. You may find it takes even longer to get to that magic number.

far as i can see its going to be quite hard if,like me,you left cartos etc behind loong time ago.
just looked at lots on the new members section and its all very noob and theres nowt i can reply to much really.
so,anyone see any of my posts,forgive the short answers or seemingly obvious dislike of cartos etc,just me being oold n grumpy.

That particular post - yes - was written 5/11/12 as a reminder to people that kept asking why they couldn't post.

Once you have 5 posts, the system will need to refresh (at 25 after the hour) and then you will be able to post in most forums...some require 15 posts.

Thanks for the help , i have been a lurker , learned a WHOLE lot over the years , managed to quit smaking also since i became a meber , mostly due to you guys , and in April when i ordered my Vamo v2 from Vapor Break , i sat my analogs down for good when it arrived .

I have a Banner/Signature that i use on their forum i will import for here since i dont wanna be a lurker anymore .
Thanks Again Everyone , sure i can make 5-15 posts here in no time now that i know what in the h$%l i know what i am doing . And also since i am not a beginner vaper , i can offer my assistance , and return the help given to me . I am no where near experienced , but after 2+ years , i am sure i know a little bit .
