I have an Ego CE4 model clearomizer and I find that it leaks a little on the top of the battery. It doesn't seem to matter which juice I am using. It's not a huge amount, maybe a drop or two. I always make sure it is cleaned before recharging the battery. I have 3 of them and have the same issue with all of them. Is this a common problem with this type of tank?

Yes, it's a common problem. Some will leak more than a few drops. Actually, a drop or two on the top is pretty normal on any atomizer. Let's just say, the CE4's are most likely on the bottom of most people's lists of clearos to use. But they are easy for the first time vaper. I actually like the CE4 and still use them with my eGos. I do get leakage but I like the flavor I get from them.

That's true. Though some have had big leaks with the CE4 because it's glued together and it sometimes comes unglued. And since they are polycarbonate plastic, they will melt with some juices.

Thanks Susan. Considering the problems you get with cigarettes I guess its minor.

Get the ce5 if you can swing it, or try a different tank. My first purchase was a ce5 kit and its pretty awesome, you get new coils for it and change them after they become bad. Then i had a coupon for buy two juices and get a free starter kit, so i ended up with a crappy ce4 that leaked horribly when you took a hit, but at least now i have a back up battery and charger lol
