I was lead to believe that the kick on the Bombshell Stinger and The BAM would have incredible battery life. The batteries they use are 3000 mah or better. Well, it seems that I can't get more than 12 hours out of either of them. I'm assuming it a battery thing, (I haven't checked the voltage remaining yet) but it's not giving me the "stutter vape" indication. It just stops working. i can unscrew the mod "reseting" the kick and get a few more vapes out of it, but after a few minutes it dies again. What are your thoughts?

From the website "The Kick will detect, and stop functioning, when a battery charge level drops below 3.2 volts UNDER LOAD (with an atty/carto attached). This is a safety feature. The Kick will tell you this feature is activating when you experience STUTTER VAPE (vapor-no vapor alternating – may feel like tss-tss-tss). If you continue to vape beyond this indicator, the Kick will stop functioning until a fresh battery charge is detected. If you remove the battery and meter test it (unloaded) it may read between 3.4 and 3.6 volts. There are many variables that can contribute to the various unloaded readings."

Variables are whatever amounts to voltage loss in your device. On my bombshell, the threads get black oxidation fast. They need to be kept clean. Clean the 510 connection top and inside. You can clean the inside of the tube where the kick makes contact and I suppose you could get a swab done to the bottom spring. Outside of that there ain't much tou can do easily. Maybe the switch can be fiddled with.

A lot of batteries have a large amount of the mah at voltages below 3.7 volts so while there is rated battery life left only a mechanical mod will use much of it at the lower voltages. Try swapping out the kick with the dummy center post that came with it. If you have a low ohm coil, you can still get a lot of life out of the battery. The flip side is the battery lifespan is extended with the Kick cutoff and then recharging. Running the battery down to it's natural cutoff before recharging reduces the lifespan of the battery.
