As you can guess (since this section is for beginners) I am new to E-smoking. I just got mine today and am having a small issue. I purchased from Instead, and am very happy with the product. Only I keep getting the e-liquid on my lip when I use smoke. I only placed a small amount in the cartridge. What could be causing this??? Or is this a normal problem???

HELP!!!!!

--Flooded atomizer
--Sucking too hard, or not hard enough, while using an automatic battery
--Filling the cartridge too full of juice
--Battery is no longer functioning
--Atomizer is no longer functioning
--Standing you e-cig cartridge side up when totally full

I think that covers all the possibilities.
Tell us more about what you're doing and how you're doing it.

So I think I may be drawing too hard. I tried lighter draws, and though I am not getting as much vapor, I am not getting any liquid with the draw. I am charging the battery just in case it was low.
So you have an automatic battery?
You need to practice then.

Stand in front of a mirror and take note of how hard you have to draw to get the battery activated.
Then practice and try to figure out what it takes to get it on and keep it on.

The sooner you get it activated, and the longer you can keep it activated, the better.
When you suck on it while the battery is off, you're just asking for juice in the mouth.

Another question I have is can you overcharge the battery? I was planning on leaving the battery plugged in overnight....is that bad???
No, I leave mine in overnight whenever I need to.
The charger will shut off when it's charged.

I just read a thread somewhere on here about battery life and such. It listed a lot of misconceptions and had tips (from a guy that has intimately worked on batteries for 20 years) about keeping these types of batteries in the best working order as possible.

These batteries should not be left fully charged (left on the charger) for any amount of time or it wears the internal stuff down quickly. I doubt that it would hurt it, but just wanted to share what I remember reading. Also of note is that these batteries do not have a 'memory' so charging them without them being depleted is not a bad thing and is even actually recommended (lots of shorter chargers > one long extended charge).

Good luck on your vaping!

Eli
