Problems with GUS 16

I recently bought a used one and find that the hot spring collapses quickly making the battery loose in the tube and results in poor electrical contact. It came with 2 extra hot springs. I used one of the replacements and it started doing the same thing after only an hour or so. Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix? I emailed their support for help, but it
s been a couple days and no answer. Frustrating!

EDIT: The email I mentioned was to atmomixani support, not GUS. They did ultimately reply to me and directed me to GUS. (see my follow-up post below).

For anyone interested in this, Trendy vape in San Diego apparently has new "variable pole with fuse" replacement from GUS for the hot springs in the GUS 22 and 16. I left a message on their FB page and they told me to call them today. I'll post back here after I speak with them. I found out about this upgrade in an email from Mario Andriko at GUS (very responsive).

Edit: Unfortunately, no returned call from Trendy vape yet. Maybe tomorrow.
