Since I'm a noob to the forum, I'm not allowed to post in the technical difficulties section, so sorry if this is misplaced.

I got a Blu a few weeks ago, and it was working fine at first. Since then, though, several things have gone wrong.

First, one of my batteries decided to stop working. The blue LED flashes when it's plugged into the charger, but when I attach the atomizer and take a drag, nothing happens. Also, the vapor quality of my blu and the battery life has gone down. Do I need to clean the atomizers? I also have to drag pretty hard for the LED to light up at all, and still get pretty much no vapor, even with a brand new cart.

Now the battery that is still working in acting kind of weird. When I take a drag, it works at first, and then blinks 15 times. 5 times means you need to take a break, 30 means the battery is dead... What does 15 mean? o_O?

Thanks for any help you can give. I've been reading this forum for a while, and the people here seem really knowledgeable and polite. Since I have to wait 5-7 days for Blu to get back to me, I figured I'd come here.

Sorry I can't answer your questions, but you need 5 posts then you can go post on a thread that is specifically about the Blu. It's the forum's way of keeping out spam. Anyway, chat here a minute, or say Hi back to me then go find a three more threads to comment on. Then you'll have your 5 posts. After that, and after the site updates, you'll be free to post your questions in a place where Blu owners hang out. Someone may jump on here shortly and be able to answer your questions. Sorry I can't, but welcome to ECF....you WILL be able to get some answers....just not from me. ;)

I believe you might have liquid in your batts. Tap them lightly on a hard surface connector side down. If no liquid comes out, I would contact blu. If you get your batts working right I would suggest getting 306 cartos from cloudsofvapor or electronicstix. Just don't tell blu if you have been dripping or if you tried anything other than their product. Don't want to chance ruining the warranty.

Also you will notice these batts are also noise sensitive and will go on with loud noises or even movement.

This, I think, is one of the biggest problems with these batteries. There was another thread started by a Blu user who complained about being burned at a concert by the battery. It was being activated by the music while it was in his pocket.

Since these are automatic batteries, you'll notice a hole at the top. If liquid leaks into it, it can ruin the battery. Manual batteries don't have these problems because there isn't a hole and they won't activate unless the button is pressed.

You have to wait a week for Blu to get back with you? Seriously? How can that be anything close to good customer service? I've had to contact a couple of the vendors I use for problems and the longest it took to get a response was a couple of hours! That was also on a Saturday! I know there are some Blu defenders on this forum, but how do they put up with this? It's completely unacceptable to me.

Okay...I'm done ranting...my apologies. Contact Blu because your product should still be under warranty.

Sounds like the battery is not taking much of a charge and bad. Not sure. Might try cleaning the contacts on the battery and the charger (where they meet) with a q-tip and a little alcohol (be sure it is unplugged of course). I had a Blu and didn't like it much. Carts leaked all the time. Switched to a Joye 510 and now have a Provape-1. If you have another charger, you might try it. I'm sure you got two batteries with the kit. How does the other battery operate after charging? If it charges fine then I it would lead me to think the other battery was bad or not making good contact with the charger.

I have read/watched a lot of information on Blu. There seems to be plenty of issues with a lack of customer service. One thing I did see a lot of was mentioning the foil on the cartridges. A lot of Blu users push the capsule out of the cartridge with a bobby pin through the hole, then remove the foil for more vapor. I have not personally tried this nor do I own a Blu E-Cig, but I have seen this mentioned in several places.
