Problems with OCC coils on Subtank mini

I got a subtank mini a few week ago, i had been using 0.5ohm coil that come inside the box, and change it today for a new one, but something is working wrong! I use the subtank with a Kangertech Kbox, the thing is, with the new 0.5ohm coil the taste is so bad even putting the kbox on 13w and the airflow feels a little different, looking both coils (the box one and the new one) i noticed that there is something differet the box one says on back 5A and the new one says 4L... Is this something to worry about? Or what am i doing wrong? Thank you for your help!

u could of gotten clones or a bad coil.
pics of the bad coil might help espicially at the bottom where the insulator is, wire should be flush.

Kanger is notorious for 2 things. Clones and lack of quality control. Find a good supplier like myvaporstore.com (there arte many others) and be prepared to toss up to 1/3 of the coils in any one pack. Kanger cranks these things out by the millions and more than a few bad ones get thru QC .

I agree with both posts. There are a lot of clones out there and you might have gotten a dud
