I was using Ecopure with no problems except not much flavor, then I got in some wonderful tasting PG Liquids but after 1 day of using My body began to hurt literally my calves feel like I have charly horses in them, every muscle in the back, arms and neck. I'm not talking a little bit of lactic acid build up, its alot. I drank 3 large glasses of water and it eased up a bit, well the next day its even worse now, its so painful. And now I have what seams to be sores on my tounge, sensitive. And my teeth are so sensitive, they are killing me :(

Has anyone had these symptoms, what can I do to make it better
I like my PG juice

Yes, I've seen them. Spikey, who is allergic to PG had teeth problems if I recall. Check the stickies - or at least the stickies that used to be here when I started, some of which have been taken down for political/personal reasons. But search 'Propylene glycol allergy' and see what you get.

Oh she puts all those awesome flavors in VG, I was wanting to order from her, but then this happened. Do let me know when you get them!! I'd love to hear how they are.
Did you have to contact her to get the VG, I didn't see it on the site, I was looking earlier.
If your wife hasn't tried the Ecopure yet she should, I really do like it, the Rich even has a throat hit, and it has a nice light flavor hard to explain. I have no reaction to it at all. But I'm dying to try Bubblegum, Red Hots, Cinnabuns and Coffee type flavors

I read somewhere that PG converts to lactic acid and that is probably where the leg cramps are coming from. Grab a bottle of Gatorade a day and that will take care of that. At least it worked for me. You won't have to do this forever either. Your body will get used to it. I already had sensitive teeth so I can't answer that one. I've also read on here about the mouth sores some people have and that seems to be a normal withdrawal reaction. But I'm not a doctor and you might want to see one if symptoms persist.

I had all the same symptoms. The mouth sores were the worst and just wouldn't go away. I switched to VG juice (DIYflavorshack) and everything went back to normal. VG may not have the throat hit that PG has but I just can't tolerate PG. Two drags off a PG and I can feel the mouth sores starting. I'm sure glad some sites offer VG bases or I would have had to give up on e-smoking.

I seem to be able to keep the mouth ulcers away by taking a drink of water regularly if I am chain-vaping, in my case I think it is due to small amounts of liquid coming through the mouthpiece and burning the tip of my tongue. I still haven't tracked down the culprit juice(s), or even if it is the nicotine, PG or VG - its when I swap between many different juices in one day that they seem to appear.

Maybe I'm simply overdoing the vape time on certain days. I agree the ulcers can be very uncomfortable, but they do always disappear within 2 or 3 days (>> Edit: if you remove the offending ingredient of course). I haven't had any muscle pain, but my throat and eyes feel dry if I don't take on water regularly.

I'll investigate whether it is my PG liquids, though I use 18mg TW Hilton without any problems and I think it is PG.

I had some of these same symptoms - not the muscle aches, but the tongue sores and aching teeth.

I have found one PG liquid that does not cause those problems for me...
LiquidXpress. I talked to Rob from LX and he told me the difference is that they process their liquid rather than some of the liquids are just flavored and relabled.

I don't know that I would suggest this for you, Menthol, since you are having so many problems with PG, but for some of the others that have milder symptoms, you might consider trying LX.

Menthol, have you tried adding flavoring to the Ecopure? I know most flavorings have PG, but I wonder if you would be ok with a few drops to improve the flavor.

I hope you're feeling better soon...I know how miserable I was with just the mouth issues, I can't imagine how awful it would feel to add in muscle cramps.

Hang in there...:(
